I founded Matters Accounting Solutions in 2022. Matters is my platform to provide personal CFO services to individuals and small businesses.
With over 25 years of corporate finance experience, I bring my expertise to you. Expertise I cultivated through my roles at GE Capital, Genworth Financial and Capital One.
My goal with Matters is to return to my roots. During my time in Chicago, I worked as a bartender and day manager at The Lodge while getting my CPA certificate. This was a highly rewarding life experience. There was nothing better than getting to know my customers.
After finishing college and getting my CPA certificate, I moved on from The Lodge to corporate finance. The corporate world gave me a great education. Now full circle, I am leveraging that education as I return to my roots.
For individuals, I handle all Federal and State tax needs. Furthermore, I will advocate on your behalf to resolve any issues with the IRS.
For small businesses, my corporate finance experience gives me the skills to bring CFO services to your business. These services include accounting, tax, financial planning, and business valuations.
I am graduate of the University of Illinois and I earned my CPA certificate in 1997.
My family and I moved to the Richmond area in 2000 and we currently reside in the Fan. My wife, Tamara, and I support Ronald McDonald House Charities.
